WATCH – Thousands of Mourners Pay Their Respects to George Floyd Near his Birthplace of Fayetteville:

Local authorities anticipate somewhere between 30,000 to 40,000 people to come to the Cape Fear Conference B Headquarters in Raeford, North Carolina. The memorial will include a public viewing that is scheduled from 11am to 1pm EST, followed by a private memorial that will run from 3pm to 5pm EST. George Floyd was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, but spent a lot of his youth in Houston. After the Saturday service, his body will be taken to the Texas city for a public viewing.
